I started teaching English at the Kensington High School for Business and Entrepreneurship. In 2006, I was lucky enough to move to the Paul Robeson High School for Human Services, which has been my home ever since.
I have taught children in the areas of Language Arts, Literature, and Public Speaking. I was the Lindback Foundation Runner-Up in 2011, and I won the award in 2012. I have served on the Building Committee, Climate Committee, Positive Support Committee, and Save Our School Committee in addition to running the Morning Gym program. I currently serve as Teacher Technology Leader, Data Chair, and on the Leadership Team.
I am a proud member of the Caucus of Working Educators and the Teacher’s Action Group.
I received my high school education at Lower Merion, then attended the George Washington Univeristy (2005) and went to St. Joseph’s University for my Masters’ (2015).
I’m not very good at Ultimate Frisbee, but I keep signing up to play. I’m somewhat of a gym rat. I tweet. I take my job much more seriously than I take myself.
